Petit Vour November (!!) Beauty Box

It's January 22nd 2018 and I only just 'found' my November Petit Vour Beauty Box last week 😕 it had obviously been mislaid, so thankfully I found it ... December review to follow this one (during the week..if I haven't mislaid that one, too)

The November Petit Vour Beauty Box arrived, at some point in November, but I'm only getting around to reviewing it now ... apologies.  But, it was worth the wait!!!  Petit Vour, once again, knocked it outta the park.  I love how the products are 100% products that I would use on a daily basis and stuff I actually need.

In case you're not aware of who or what Petit Vour is, it's a monthly subscription service that delivers 4 cruelty-free, Vegan and clean beauty products to your door each month.  Some months, you may even get a 5th surprise inclusion.  As my beauty box is coming to Ireland, it costs me $34.98 each month, but the majority of that is shipping.  It's $15 a month but it works out cheaper if you buy 3. 6 or 12 month subscriptions.  Each item is usually sample size, but sometimes they're full size products.  Every month, there is a lovely new card, designed exclusively for Petit Vour.  This month's card is by A Thing Created

An extra little 'perk' with Petit Vour is, you can earn points for purchases and product reviews - 25 points for every product review & 20% back in points.  I've earned $1600 in points so I'll treat myself to a little something from the Petit Vour store 😉👍

November's Box:  This month, we had two of my favourite ever brands - Juice Beauty & Lily Lolo 💖 There is a known issue shipping perfume samples/ nail polish from the US to Ireland (customs issue) so whenever there is a nail polish or a fragrance included in the box, the Petit Vour Babes give me a different sample.

In this box, I received 2 samples of Ursa Major face masks (Ursa Major '3-minute Flash Mask' - 50ml retails at $44 so I'm not sure how much these little guys are worth - they are good for 2 or 3 masks each, just btw).  Petit Vour is a 'green beauty' company which means there are no nasty ingredients (or very, very little) in the products they sell.

Juice Beauty have popped up in a few of my Vegan Beauty Subscription Boxes over the past few years and they have become a fast favourite of mine.  I love the scent that their products leave on my hair and skin.  Citrusy, without being completely overpowering.  I have thyroid issues so I'm super-sensitive to smells.  I can't have scents lingering on me all day if they're going to make me ill, but Juice Beauty never do.  I'm even complimented on my 'perfume' sometimes 😁 I absolutely adore this brand!!  In this months box, we got a Green Apple Brightening Gel Cleanser worth, I'm assuming, $14 (60ml) as the larger size (120ml) retails at $28.  It is a huge bottle which should last quite a while and it is perfect for travelling (ya'll know how much I love packing up my '100mls or less travel toiletries bag') 😉

The Lily Lolo Makeup Mist we received was a full-sized product - 50ml retailing at $18.  I sprayed some onto my hand and it was beautiful.  Not greasy or sticky, it dried really quickly and it felt really refreshing.  You know how some makeup mists feel like they're trying to smother you???  Well, this one doesn't do that.  It's fabulous and, again, 50ml so it shall be coming with me to Liverpool next month 😉

Last, but by no means least, Metta Skincare Coconut Lip Balm - another full size product.  Retailing at $14 for 25ml.  This is extremely nourishing without being super greasy.  There is a mild coconut scent from it but, again, it's not overpowering.  A tiny bit is sufficient to cover both lips and the packaging is fab.  I'm not quite sure if it's extremely tough plastic or glass, but it's definitely something I'll be reusing once the lip balm has all gone 😊

I'm majorly impressed with Petit Vour, again, this month for treating us to two full sized, useable, products that you can either leave at home or bring with you in your bag.  Very convenient sizes, very affordable (for when you want to restock when they run out), very cool 👍

Let me know if you subscribe to Petit Vour and if so, what you thought of the November Beauty Box. Or the December ... or, by the time you read this, maybe even the January 2018 Beauty Box 😉💖

February Travels

As well as being an animal lover, I love music and football but, living in Ireland, I don't get the opportunity to indulge my passions very often.  So, when I plan a trip to the UK, I try to cram as much in as possible ...

I'm going to Manchester and Liverpool in February, and I'm going to document every meal, shop and venue I visit with how the rate on the 'sfv scale' ☺

Last September, I was in Liverpool and I crammed quite a lot in and I'm cross with myself for not documenting how Vegan the trip was.  So this time, I will be doing so☺

If anybody has any recommendations for me, in either Manchester or Liverpool, for coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, bars, venues, etc please let me know.

Happy Sunday everybody ☺ xx

Happy New Year Everybody

Hi everybody

I hope you've all had an amazing year, your Christmas was 'Merry and Bright' and I wish you all health and happiness for 2018 😘

One of my New Years Resolutions for this year is to keep more up to date with this blog. I'm considering expanding to all things Vegan (not just beauty products) as I am officially fully Vegan since May 24th 2017 😀 *proud face*

I've always been a fussy eater so find it quite hard to find food I can eat anyway, so am on the lookout for tasty Vegan food around Galway and on my travels (UK cities more so than other countries as I'm a terrible flyer!!)

I'll try to post far more often, too. If you have any questions, recommendations or advice on Vegan products, meals or restaurants, please let me know.

Take Care & Speak Soon

Claire xx
